What type of technology does the scanner use?
The scanner utilizes three advanced technologies:
- 3D Infrared Imaging: This captures your body shape, measurements, and circumferences.
- Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA): This measures fat, muscle, and water composition in your body.
- Bioelectrical Data Analysis (BDA): This enhances the accuracy of body composition measurements by analyzing additional electrical properties of body tissues.
Together, these technologies provide a comprehensive and precise analysis of your body composition.
What measurements to track?
Body Fat Composition, BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), and WC (Waist Circumference).
Why is tracking Body Fat Composition essential?
Body Fat Composition is crucial for weight loss as the ultimate goal for any weight loss to loss fat and gain muscles.
What is the significance of tracking BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)?
BMR, or Basal Metabolic Rate, reflects the energy needed for basic bodily functions. It plays a key role in weight maintenance, gain, or loss. BMR Changs with body weight change.
Why is Waist Circumference important in tracking health?
WC (waist circumference) is a vital predictor of cardiometabolic disease risk. High-risk thresholds are greater than 40 inches for men and greater than 36 inches for women.
How often to I do the scan?
it depends on your progress but roughly every 3 months in the first year of your weight loss journey.
