I am diabetic for more than 3 decades. I am compliant on my medication, my sugar was uncontrolled, seen a lot of doctors and my body used to high sugar that if it goes 10 and below I don't feel good. I was on fast and slow acting insulin for more than 7 years, super high and super low are happening every now and then. My eye sight get worst, numbness on my limbs. I bump into Zocdoc and met Dr. Nakawa. He seen me for more than 2 months, my sugar averaging from 105 to 150. Never had 200+ or -60. My eye sight is getting better, I can read far again. I don't feel dizzy or sluggish. I feel great! I feel like I am getting my life back. I get rid of my fast acting. Aim next month is to get rid of my long acting. I am thankful to Dr. Nakawa, for me I considered it a miracle. Thank you Mr. Nakawa!

I started my journey with this clinic in September 2025 at 230 lbs, and as of March 2026 I’m down to 182 lbs — a total loss of 52 pounds. This has truly been life-changing for me. The front desk is always very helpful cordial the doctor is always full of resources. They are to listen gives great advice and I believe has me on the right path.

It’s been great to do this journey of weight loss with Way Less Weight Loss Clinic.
